On January 20, Lambda Literary is joining PEN America and others for a sundown public reading on the steps of the New York Public Library. The event will feature texts that radically reimagine community and mutual aid in the face of xenophobia, hatred, and threats to our sense of truth. The exciting and growing lineup so far includes André Aciman, Jennifer Bartlett, Justin Vivian Bond, Anne Carson, Tina Chang, Álvaro Enrigue, Suzanne Gardinier, Sahar Muradi, George Emilio Sanchez, Sapphire, Anne Waldman, the Revolutionary Choir and others to be announced.

Join us as we assemble to energize our community action and coalition building for the year ahead. This event is a part of Art Action Day, a coordinated day of public art actions led by dozens of artists, arts organizations, and advocates throughout NYC and around the country.
