Anne Rice Confirms Same-Sex Couple in Interview with the Vampire

Well, we all suspected it, and now it is has been confirmed by the author herself. With the graphic novel adaptation of her 1976 classic Interview with a Vampire hitting bookstores this November (Interview With The Vampire: Claudia’s Story adapted by Ashley Marie Witter), Rice confirms that parents Louis and Lestat were indeed the first “vampire same-sex parents” in her interview with io9.
