October brings with it a great selection of new LGBTQ books!

Little, Brown and Company is publishing the long-awaited new book from bestselling author Emma Donoghue. Astray is a novel that offers a series of finely detailed portraits of a cavalcade of nomadic characters.

Beth Ditto’s memoir, Coals to Diamonds, is being released this October. Published by Spiegel & Grau, and co-written by the incomparable Michelle Tea, the memoir tells the story of Ditto, from her childhood growing up in rural Arkansas as a “sexually confused choir nerd with a great voice…eighties perm and Kool Aide dye job” to her time spent in Olympia, Washington during the late 1990′s punk scene, where the awesome soul/funk/disco/punk/gospel/rock band, Gossip, was formed.

If you are in the mood for love, October also has something for all you romance lovers. Bold Strokes Books is releasing new romance titles from Ali Vali, L.T. Marie, and Andrea Bramhall.

Also this month expect new releases from novelist Trebor Healy, poet Peter Covino, author Ellen Hart, and a new edited collection from Raymond Luczak.
