As an LGBTQ+ publisher, Bold Strokes Books strives to ensure that our list of publications represents the cultures, backgrounds, and viewpoints of our world. We believe everyone should have access to write and read stories that reflect their lived experience.

If you are an author who identifies as Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color, we welcome you to submit your LGBTQ+ fiction short stories to In Our Words: Queer Stories from Black, Indigenous, and People of Color Writers.

Deadline for Submission: August 1st, 2020
Guidelines for submission Stories of any genre, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color protagonists preferred
Unpublished stories preferred
Word count: 2,500 – 6,000 words

Payment: $100 and 2 contributor copies
