Alison Bechdel, Howard Cruse and others on display @ Giovanni’s Room

Through the month of June, original drawings and sketches of the work of gay and lesbian cartoonists will be on display @ Giovanni’s Room in Philly. Artists include: Alison Bechdel (early cartoons), Howard Cruse  (Wendel), Eric Orner (The Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green),  Tim Barela (Leonard & Larry), Joe Phillips (The House of Morecock), Glen Hanson and  Allan Neuwirth (Chelsea Boys), Maurice Vellekoop (Pinups), David Shenton (Phobia, Phobia; British cartoonist), William Haefeli (New Yorker cartoonist), and the work of PGN  editorial cartoonists Domenick Scudera and Glenn Lash.  The exhibit is put up by George Huber, long-time Giovanni’s Room volunteer.
