BETTER: Stories, Poems, Essays, Words for LGBTQ Teens About Growing Up, Surviving, Living, and Thriving

I am calling for submissions of stories, poems, essays, memoirs, etc, for an anthology titled “BETTER: Stories, Poems, Essays, Words for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer Teens About Growing Up, Surviving, Living, and Thriving.” Submissions should be YA/teen oriented. Think of the book as an It Gets Better Project for writers. No word limits or minimums, but remember that this is an anthology.
Payment: None; this will be a nonprofit anthology. All profits earned will be donated to a nonprofit organization that serves the queer youth community.
Publisher: To be determined.
Deadline: Please send all submissions to betterbookproject@gmail.com as .doc files by December 30, 2010.
Publication Date: Summer 2011.
