In lieu of a traditional acceptance speech, author, Rakesh Satyal, sang his thanks to the tune of Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance.” Rakesh’s novel, Blue Boy, won the Gay Debut Fiction Award at the the 22nd Annual Lambda Literary Awards in New York City on May 27, 2010. Read a review of Blue Boy here.
