Do you need a post-holiday kiki? Well, today is your lucky day!
Here is a clip of a young Marie Osmond performing Dadaist poetry. Thank you Internet!
From Art Fag City,
“When you know you’re going to be on stage, you want to make sure you look your best and that you’re properly dressed for the part.” Begins Ripley’s Believe It or Not host Marie Osmond. Fashion cliches are strange way to introduce a segment on Hugo Ball, a member of the DADA art movement, but I suppose that’s part of television’s charm. The movement was driven by anti-war, anti-bourgeois and radical left ideology.
