It’s been a good week for Bold Strokes author Kristin Marra. Her new romance Wind and Bones (published in May) has been awarded the 2010 Sapphic Readers’ Award. This award is given annually by The Sapphic Reading Group — an Austin, TX based reading group of 18 women founded 6+ years ago.

According to the awards committee,

“…Criteria for the award includes: original storyline, believable plot, well-developed characters, superior writing style, and quality entertainment. The Sapphic Readers’ Award includes a check and a personalized plaque created by a local ceramic artist.”

Congratulations to Kristin Marra and her editors at Bold Strokes Books!
