Bret Easton Ellis Spit On at West Hollywood Grocery Store: Well, we can’t exactly say we’re surprised. Apparently, Bret Easton Ellis was spat upon outside of the Pavilions grocery store in West Hollywood, an area heavily populated by LGBT people. The author recently tweeted that Matt Bomer, an openly gay man, “isn’t right for Christian Grey” because he isn’t heterosexual. Bomer is rumored to have been cast as Grey in the film adaptation of 50 Shades of Grey. [Advocate]
