‘Hero’ author Perry Moore dies

Lambda Literary Award winner found dead in NYC

The details are still unclear but according to several reports Lambda Literary Award winner Perry Moore has passed away. The New York Times writes:

Perry Moore, an executive producer of the fantasy movie series “The Chronicles of Narnia” and the author of “Hero,” a book about a gay superhero, died on Thursday after being found unconscious in his Greenwich Village apartment. He was 39.

According to A/V Club:

He was also writing a Hero sequel as well as working on a new novel, Way Of The Wolf, Book One: Fire—about a group of superpowered triplets—at the time of his death.
