Judge Dredd May Be Gay, Writers Hint

Judge Dredd fans have been reacting to an image of the comic book hero in the arms of another man with the caption, “I guess, somehow, I’d always known I was gay. I was just too scared to admit it.” The latest issue of the 2000 AD comic is called “Closet”, but the illustration actually depicts a man dressed in a Judge Dredd costume, and not the hero himself. Writer Rob Williams says Dredd “may well be gay, straight or bi”, but his sexuality is likely to remain a mystery, at least for now. [Guardian]
