24th Annual Lambda Literary Awards Finalist Readings

Every year after we announce the Lambda Awards shortlists, LLF organizes readings (often with the help of nominated authors) at locations around the U.S. and Canada where finalists read from their nominated work.  Listed below are seven cities currently scheduled with dates, locations and confirmed authors to date.  Participating authors are subject to change.  If you’re from any one of the cities below, come and meet our finalists, hear their work and buy their books!

Tony Valenzuela, Executive Director, Lambda Literary Foundation. A graduate of the MFA in Creative Writing program of the California Institute of the Arts, Valenzuela is a longtime community activist and writer whose work has focused on LGBT civil rights, sexual liberation and gay men’s health.
