Fuclosure: Gay Seniors Read Their Stories

Posted on 23. Feb, 2012 by in Events

QueerWise is a group of GLBT writers, 50+, who have been working under the tutelage of Michael Kearns for the past eighteen months. They made their theatrical debut in Late Awakenings at the Skylab (part of Katselas Theatre Company’sINKubator).

The collective subsequently performed Mid-Life Sentence at the intimate Writers @ Work space. In November, they appeared at Akbar’s Apt 3F. QueerWise has been funded by Spoken Interludes Next and Poets & Writers, through a grant it has received from The James Irvine Foundation. The Sunday, March 11th Los Angeles performance, Fuclosure, is drawn from the writings of QueerWise in 2012.
