As it approaches its second decade, the Lambda Literary
Foundation will be a service organization linking the entire
GLBTQ literary community—including the blind and
visually impaired. Among its initiatives will be to investigate
the recording of GLBTQ books. Planning is underway for
programs to reach out to and assist young GLBTQ writers.
Our new website will offer vastly expanded and fully comprehensive
services to the GLBTQ community. Some of the services to
be offered to readers, writers and publishers:
- Complete information, current and historical, about
our premier literary event, the Lambda Literary Awards.
- Links to publishers, author websites, editors, agents,
bookstores, libraries, periodicals, newspapers, archives;
- Listings of writers conferences and workshops, regional
readings and author appearances;
- Calls for manuscripts, announcements of writing contests;
And much more.
